DURHAM, N.C. – Duke cross country is back in action this weekend, competing in the Adidas XC Challenge on Friday, Sept. 24 at the WakeMed Cross County Course in Cary.

LAST TIME OUT
- Duke opened the season with a sweep of North Carolina A&T. The Duke men tallied 21 points while the women finished with 25 points en route to placing first in their respective races.
- Graduate student Matthew Farrell paced the efforts for the Blue Devil men with a first-place finish of 14:32.0 in the 4.7K race. For the women, it was classmate Abby Paczewski who led the way in the 3.5K with a time of 12:55.4 – good for third among the field.
- Overall, the Duke men and women combined for six top-five placements. The full meet recap is available HERE.
UP NEXT
Duke features a split squad the weekend of Oct. 4 with several members of the team heading to the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational (Chicago, Illinois), while others make the short trek to Greenville for the ECU Pirate Invitational.
