Our Regional Development Days aim to help coaches learn and grow

Courses for 2023 - sign-up to start your coaching journey or improve skills

Friday 4th October 2024

Our Regional Development Days for winter 2024-25 have started as scottishathletics seeks to raise standards in our sport.

The programme of RDDs scheduled over the coming months – on various dates at a range of locations across the country – are geared to help the development of coaches in Jumps, Throws, Sprints and Hurdles.

Dates have been confirmed across the winter season and we encourage clubs and coaches to reflect on their primary areas for development for the 2024-25 season – and make the most of these CPD opportunities.

As we look to help in the development of coaches, we see the purpose of the programme as:

*Engaging with our Coaches – Providing practical, accessible workshop opportunities for ongoing development and learning

*Building Networks – Facilitating coaches to work cooperatively and collaboratively with coaches from other clubs to learn and improve

The Regional Development Days (RDDs) form part of our Event Group Projects (EGPs) – more details on the wider EGPs can be found on the Performance Development section of our website.
