Learning from experience: ATS to host Masters Q and A in Edinburgh

Experience an inspiring evening with some of Scotland’s top Masters runners and record breakers – Paul Forbes, Fiona Matheson and Grant Baillie.

Athletics Trust Scotland have set up another Q and A session as part of their Tales of the Track and Trails series.

The event will be held in Edinburgh on Wednesday 4 December at Edinburgh University playing fields at Peffermill (from 7pm to 8.30pm).

It is sure to be an entertaining and absorbing event with funds raised for key projects at Athletics Trust Scotland.

The panel features three exceptional Masters athletes whose achievements have resulted in record breaking performances from a national to world level!

Paul Forbes: A former Scottish Commonwealth Games athlete back in the day at 800m, Paul had tussles with some of the greats. Years later her returned to the sport as a Masters athlete and is now breaking world records!

Fiona Matheson: Fiona has been running for a number of years after first coming into running via jogscotland. Since Fiona has joined the Masters categories she has been smashing numerous UK and world records and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon!

Grant Baillie: In recent years, Grant has demonstrated that he is one of the world’s top endurance athletes in Masters events. Grant delivered a superb gold medal performance at the World Masters Championships in Sweden for the 3000m steeplechase

This event offers a unique opportunity to hear first hand from these top Masters about their high level performances, challenges and insights into competition.

Whether you’re an aspiring athlete, a seasoned competitor, or a fan of inspiring stories, this panel is not to be missed!
