SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah track & field team released its indoor schedule on Wednesday and features eight regular-season meets followed by the Big 12 Indoor Championships and NCAA Championships.
The Women of Utah shake off the cob webs in the early part of December to compete in the BYU December Invite (Dec. 10-12) to officially kick off the indoor season. The Utes will then take a month off before toeing the line once again at the Weber State Indoor Invitational (Jan. 10-11) up in Ogden.
Utah then heads back to the Snake River Open (Jan. 16-17) for the first time since 2021-22 for a couple days before making its first of two trips up to the PNW for the UW Invitational (Jan. 31 – Feb. 1). With the distance squad in Seattle, the sprints squad will head to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Razorback Invitational that same weekend. Meanwhile, a select group will stay within the state of Utah and compete up in Logan at the Roman Ruiz Classic (Feb. 1).
The Utes will close out the regular-season two weeks later with another split squad weekend. The distance crew returns to the Emerald City for the Husky Classic (Feb. 14-15) while the sprints team heads to the Land of Enchantment for the Don Kirby Invitational (Feb. 14-15).
Two weeks later, Utah heads to Lubbock, Texas, for the Big 12 Indoor Championships hosted by Texas Tech Feb. 28 – March 1. Should the Women of Utah have anyone run a qualifying time, they’ll compete in the NCAA Indoor Championships in Virginia Beach, Va., at the Virginia Beach Sports Center March 14-15.
