Tickets are selling fast for our first ever EAP Indoor International meet in Glasgow.
And we are delighted to now confirm the event – which will take place in the Emirates Arena on Sunday 2 February – has now been given Challenger status by World Athletics.
More than 600 tickets have been sold in just five days since we opened up the event last Saturday,
So we would strongly urge folk keen to attend to buy tickets now and not miss out.
The event is the first of its kind to be held in Scotland and will welcome top athletes from across the UK and Europe, while also providing a fantastic opportunity for developing Scottish talent to compete on home soil.
‘Challenger’ status from World Athletics hopefully raises the profile of the event and may help attract even better quality athletes from around the UK and Europe.
The world class Emirates Arena was refurbished last winter in preparation for the hugely successful 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships.
One year on from that action, the athletes will be hoping the track proves to be as fast as it was for that event, which saw two World, 10 Continental and 54 National Records set over the three days of competition.
The action will happen over a three-hour session beginning at 6pm, with the 60m sprint and hurdles, 200m, 400m, 800m (Women), 1500m (Men), 5000m, Long Jump (Men) and High Jump (Women) all set to feature.
Tickets are on sale priced at just £8.50, with hopes to generate a big Scottish welcome for the athletes.
A special offer for clubs or groups will see this price reduced to just £5 per ticket when purchasing 10 or more.

What is the EAP?
The Events for Athletics Promotion circuit, created in 1990, is an independent circuit of international meetings based on the concept of true athletics. Standards and regulations give all members the opportunity to participate in EAP level competitions: a unique chance for their athletes to compete abroad and to invite other EAP members to compete in their events.
