1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers competed in a pair of meets between the Dr. Sander Invitational and the Fighting Illini Invite—returning to Madison with six first-place finishes combined. The DMR emerged as one of the biggest winners from the weekend, as the combination of Mya Bunke, Emma Kruse, Emma Kelley and Leane Willemse turned in the fastest time in the nation to win the event in New York. Out in Illinois, Kylie Finger won the mile with a time of four minutes, 54.23 seconds, while Elissa Perkins dominated with a leap of 40-0 ½ (12.20m) in the triple jump. Perkins will be back in action this weekend at the Lenny Lyles Invitational.

In addition to a strong shot put unit, the women’s throwing squad continues to set themselves apart from the competition in their 2024-25 season campaign.
