Florida’s distance running star is one of only seven individual NCAA D1 athletes set to compete on the track at perhaps the biggest event in Indoor Track and Field.
NEW YORK CITY – Florida Gators distance running star Hilda Olemomoi is slated to compete in the 117th Millrose games at the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York City on Saturday, February 8. The meet is among the biggest, most prestigious stages in the Track and Field season, and will feature many of the top athletes in the professional ranks.
Olemomoi, who became the third woman in collegiate history to break the 15-minute threshold in the indoor 5000m in December with a 14:52.84 performance, will compete in the 3000m field in New York.
The Gators last sent an athlete to compete at the Millrose Games in 2014, when Cory McGee competed in the Wanamaker Mile during her senior campaign.
