The 4J National Relays for Seniors and U17 was part of our championship programme once again in the 2025 4J Indoor Season – after a break last year due to redevelopment work at the Emirates.
And all the excitement and thrills associated with relays were on display through Saturday as 4×200 teams battled for final places and the podium itself for coveted national championsip medals.
VP-Glasgow won the U17 Men’s gold in 1:35.54 from silver medallists Ayr Seaforth and third-placed Dundee Hawkhill.
The U17 Men’s winning team featured Mark Kelly, George Scott, Adam Watts and Ivor Scott.
Edinburgh Ac won the U17 Women’s gold in 1:48.50 from Ayr Seaforth and Cumbernauld AAC.
The U17 Women’s winning team featured Antonia Brockley, Anna Rose Grimes, Ava Bell and Olivia Faith Muir.
Pitreavie AAC won the Senior Women’s gold in 1:44.12 from silver medallists Dundee Hawkhill and third-placed Law and District. There was a DQ here for race winners VP-Glasgow.
The Senior Women’s winning team featured Katie Dinwoodie, Katie Thomson, Abigail Deacon and Emma Pedrana.
And Pitreavie AAC men made it a Senior race double for their club with victory in 1:30.07 from silver medallists Law and District AAC and bronze medallists Edinburgh.
The Senior Men’s winning team featured Rory Voss, Evan Wilson, Alex Thomson and Dylan McCulloch.
Big thank you as always to everyone who helped make the 4J National Relays happen – athletes, coaches and clubs for competing and, of course, to our superb Officials during a very busy period for those in red and purple.
