NC State’s Grace Hartman Leads ACC All-Academic Team for Women’s Cross Country

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – NC State’s Grace Hartman, an All-America standout on the course, has been named the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Cross County Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Hartman also headlines the 2024 ACC All-Academic team for women’s cross country, which is comprised of 155 student-athletes.
 
This fall, Hartman won both the ACC Championship and the NCAA Southeast Regional before turning in a fifth-place finish at the NCAA National Championship in Madison, Wisconsin. At the ACC Championship in Raleigh, North Carolina, Hartman became the sixth consecutive woman from NC State to win the individual title, crossing the finish line in 19:15.1. The Oakwood, Ohio, native led the Wolfpack to its eight consecutive NCAA Southeast Regional title, completing the 6k course in 20:04.2 to win by just two-tenths of a second.
 
Majoring in Psychology, Hartman is a four-time USTFCCCA All-Academic Team selection and a six-time All-ACC Academic Team selection. Previously, Hartman was tabbed as the 2024 ACC Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Co-Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She boasts a perfect 4.0 grade point average throughout her career and has been named the the Dean’s List at NC State.
