Pitt Unveils Outdoor Track & Field Schedule


PITTSBURGH – The Pitt Track and Field program unveiled their 2025 outdoor season schedule, as announced by Director of Track and Field and Cross Country, Alonzo Webb, Friday afternoon.

Upon the completion of the 2025 ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships (March 1-3) and the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships (March 14-15), Pitt will shift gears to the outdoor track and field season.

March 21-22 marks the first outdoor weekend of action. The team will be split between the USF Alumni Invitational in Tampa, Florida, and the Stan Romanowski Open in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The following weekend will once again feature competition across multiple states. The distance group will head to Raleigh, N.C. March 27-29 to compete in the Raleigh Relays, while some athletes remain in Pittsburgh for the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on March 29.

Track and field action occurs every weekend in the month of April. The first weekend of the month features Florida Relays April 4-5 in Gainesville. The Panthers will remain in the Keystone State the following weekend for the Bison Outdoor Classic April 12-13, hosted by Bucknell. Pitt will travel to ACC foe, Virginia for the UVA Challenge in Charlottesville, Va. April 18-19. Following Easter and final exams, the Panthers will compete in the final regular season meet, the historic Penn Relays, April 24-26.

Postseason competition begins mid-May with the 2025 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Wake Forest May 15-17. The 2025 NCAA East Regional is slotted for May 28-31 in Jacksonville, Florida. The culmination of the track and field season takes place June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
