Rosenberg Qualifies for Event Final on Day 2

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – On Day 2 of the SEC Indoor Championships, Vanderbilt track and field student-athlete Julia Rosenberg qualified for the mile final at the R.A. “Murray” Fasken Indoor Track.

Rosenberg advanced to the final with the third fastest mile time of the day, 4:41.18. Ella Lambert recorded a career best in the same event, clocking 4:48.13. Audrey Allman placed 26th with a time of 4:55.85.

In the 400 meters, Allyria McBride turned in a time of 53.69 seconds to finish 25th.

To close out Day 2, Falon Spearman recorded a 10th-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles prelims, crossing the finish line in 8.21 seconds. Taylor McKinnon finished 17th with a time of 8.37 seconds and Santana Spearman came in 20th place with a time of 8.49 seconds.

The final day of the SEC Indoor Championships is set to begin at 2 p.m. with the high jump final. Action will be streamed on SEC Network+.
