RunBlogRun noted that Andrew Colley is one of those athletes who you will soon wonder, ” Where the hell did he come from?” Andrew runs for ZAP Fitness. Last summer, I observed him run a brilliant 10,000m at the hot and humid Olympic Trials, where he scored a personal best in a race stacked with the Big Dudes. Andrew is coming close to that type of stature.
Today, March 2, 2025, Andrew Colley took fifth at the USATF Half Marathon Champs in 1:01.09! I missed the story on 28 February, but I love the story and this guy. Andrew is one of the class acts in our sport, and brands should check out ZAP Fitness, as they have fine American athletes trying to do their best!
He is racing the Prague Marathon on May 4, 2025. We wish him much luck!

“Actually, I had to go from the Houston finish to an urgent care,” said Colley. “I had a throat infection from strep throat that I didn’t know I had.”
Colley- who trains under the ZAP Endurance program in Blowing Rock, N.C., coached by Pete Rea- revealed that he’s been struggling with illness for the better part of two months.
“Since December 23rd, I’ve been on three rounds of antibiotics because I’ve been sick so much,” Colley lamented. “I’m just happy to have that out. So, I had to take some time to let my body heal before getting back into training after Houston.” He added: “I took about a week to kind of get that out of my system. Colley hopes to make a fourth national team in Atlanta and his first in road running. He’s competed thrice at the World Athletics Cross…
