BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southeastern Conference announced Tuesday afternoon that Tennessee freshman sprinter Esther Joseph was named the SEC Runner of the Week after a record-breaking outdoor season opener at the USF Alumni Invitational.
Joseph opened her NCAA outdoor career setting two early collegiate leads in the 400-meter dash and 4×400-meter relay.
