KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee track & field competes on Rocky Top this weekend as UT will play host to 30 collegiate programs for the 2025 Tennessee Invite. Competition runs Friday and Saturday, April 4-5, at Tom Black Track at LaPorte Stadium.
Admission is free for all spectators, and spectator parking will be available in Park Mobile spaces along West Volunteer Blvd. or on top of the G7 Garage across from the Allan Jones Aquatic Center. Fans are encouraged to view the parking map and visit UTSports.com/TennInvite for more information on the meet.
FOLLOW LIVE: Live results from the Tennessee Invite will be provided by AdkinsTrak Timing Associates throughout the meet. Friday and Saturday’s action will be streamed online via SEC Network+, available with TV provider login at espn.com/watch or the ESPN app. Both streams will begin at noon ET.
MEET SCHEDULE: The 2025 Tennessee Invite will begin Friday morning at 9 a.m. with the women’s hammer throw. Running events start at 3 p.m. Friday afternoon with the women’s 1,500-meter and conclude at approximately 7:30 p.m. with the men’s 5k.
Saturday’s action kicks off again at 9 a.m. with the men’s hammer, and the home meet will conclude with the men’s 4×400-meter relay at approximately 4:45 p.m. The full meet schedule can be viewed at the link above.
WHO’S COMPETING: The Vols and Lady Vols will have 93 entries this week. Other collegiate programs represented at the meet include Belmont, Carson-Newman, Cedarville, Chattanooga, Chicago State, Cumberland (Tenn.), Cumberlands, Dayton, Lee (Tenn.), Lees-McRae, Lindsey Wilson, Lipscomb, Mars Hill, Marshall, MTSU, Milligan, Mount Olive, North Carolina Wesleyan, Reinhardt, SCAD Atlanta, Tennessee Tech, Trevecca Nazarene, UNC Asheville, UVA-Wise, Valparaiso, Western Kentucky and Youngstown State.

RANKINGS UPDATE: After two strong weekends of competition to open the 2025 outdoor season, both Tennessee squads earned top-10 rankings in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national track & field rating index. The Volunteer men were tabbed No. 8 in the country, while the Lady Vols were slotted 10th.
UP NEXT: Following the home meet, Tennessee will send a group of sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, throwers and pole vaulters to Gainesville, Florida, for the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational (April 18-19).
