The 2025 Doha Diamond League meeting, set for Friday, May 17 at Qatar Sports Club, marks the third stop on this year’s Wanda Diamond League circuit and features one of the most talent-rich lineups of the season. With 45 Olympic and World Championship medalists confirmed, the Jetour Doha Meeting promises fireworks on the track and in the field.

The men’s long jump in Doha features a strong field led by 2022 world champion Wang Jianan of China and 2024 Diamond League champion Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece, setting up a clash of global titans. In the women’s high jump, rising star Angelina Topić of Serbia will test herself against Ukraine’s Iryna Herashchenko and Australia’s Eleanor Patterson, both consistent top finishers on the international stage. The women’s pole vault brings together Olympic silver medalist Katie Moon and World Indoor champion Molly Caudery in what promises to be a tightly contested event.
Middle-distance fans will have plenty to watch as well, including a men’s 1500m featuring Olympic finalists Timothy Cheruiyot and Reynold Kipkorir Cheruiyot, and a women’s 800m led by Kenya’s Mary Moraa. In the women’s pole vault, Olympic silver medalist Katie Moon of the U.S. is set to square off against Slovenia’s Tina Šutej and Canada’s Alysha Newman.
As always, Doha offers ideal early-season conditions, and with many of the world’s best athletes in attendance, Friday’s meeting is expected to produce world-leading marks and preview key rivalries ahead of this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris.
