WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The California track & field team posted one of its best outings at a conference meet in recent memory at Kentner Stadium on Friday afternoon, with five Golden Bears earning podium spots, five posting program top-10 entries and three qualifying to Saturday’s track finals at the ACC Outdoor Championships.
Shot putter Nick Godbehere earned Cal’s first medal of the day with a third-place finish in the event, posting a mark of 18.21m (59-9) for his second-best performance of the season.
