Anthaya Charlton
Anthaya Charlton win of the Women’s Long Jump at the conference meet stands as one highlight in a breakout season that includes and NCAA all-time No. 2 indoor Long Jump, the current NCAA No. 2 outdoor Long Jump for 2025, a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships and now an SEC outdoor title. Charlton added a bronze medal in the 100m before the meet concluded, and ran the second leg of the Gators’ sixth-place 4x100m relay effort.
Habiba Harris
Harris, the SEC Champion in the 100m Hurdles, has authored one of the most tantalizing freshman campaigns in NCAA this season. Making her debut this outdoor season, she set the collegiate lead in the 100m Hurdles at the Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville. Her wind-aided 12.69 stood as the nation’s top mark until the SEC Championships preliminary round, when Harris reset her own season best at a wind-legal 12.62. Her prelim mark set a new No. 2 time in program history and made her the favorite heading into Saturday’s championship race.
The Freshman added to her legend on the meet’s final day, running a 12.75 time and claiming the SEC 100m Hurdles crown in her first championship race at the collegiate level. Now, already boasting a gold medal pedigree as a first-year, she looks to be among the favorites for the national title.
