The 2025 RunningLane Track Championships, held May 23-24 at Milton Frank Stadium in Huntsville, Alabama, delivered an unforgettable weekend of elite high school racing. Under ideal conditions and electric nighttime lights, athletes from across the country turned in some of the year’s most impressive performances, highlighted by multiple personal bests and historic milestones.

The boys’ mile produced a thrilling double dip into sub-four territory. TJ Hansen claimed the win in 3:59.02, followed closely by Corbin Coombs in 3:59.23-making them the latest additions to the exclusive club of American high schoolers to break four minutes. Their duel electrified the crowd and elevated the meet into national significance.

In the girls’ mile, Gabbie Bishop used a strong closing surge to separate from the field and claim victory in one of the most competitive races of the meet. Her confident racing and well-timed kick signaled her rising status among the country’s top prep milers.

The boys’ 800 meters featured a home-state triumph, as Alabama native Cooper Jeffcoat delivered a tactically sound race to secure the win in the elite division. Meanwhile, in the girls’ 800 meters, Aurora Bertelsen Del Solar of IMG Academy led from the gun, dominating the race and reinforcing her reputation as a premier middle-distance talent.
