LEESBURG, VA – To kick off the 2025 season, the Maryland women’s cross country team competed in the Trials of Miles, hosted by New Balance. The Terps had three runners finish in the top-10.
The Terps were led by Big Ten Runner to Watch, Rose Coats, who placed 1st overall among 57 total runners who crossed the finish line. As a team, Maryland finished 2nd among 4 overall teams.
Eva Rogers placed 7th (18:11.8) followed by Katie Dutko (18:19.7) who finished 10th. The top five was rounded out by Maren Iski (12th, 18:23.5) and Lucy Scothern (16th, 18:31.1).
Up Next: Maryland will return to action in two weeks when they return to the Spiked Shoe Invitational, hosted by Penn State on September 12.
