Lindfors Named To Second Team; Jacobs Secures Third-Team Accolades

Two California women’s track & field student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators 2024-25 Academic All-America Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Graduate student Caisa-Marie Lindfors was named to the second team while junior Audrey Jacobs earned third-team accolades.

Both Lindfors and Jacobs advanced to the All-America ballot after previously securing CSC Academic All-District honors last month. To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least sophomores and maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. They also must have achieved a top-50 regional ranking on a single event – indoor or outdoor.

Lindfors, who earned Academic All-District recognition two years in a row, is Cal’s record-holder in the discus and earned First-Team All-American honors last season after finishing fourth at the 2025 NCAA Championships. Jacobs was a 2025 All-American honorable mention in the hammer throw.
