The Pac-12 announced today its 2025 Spring Academic Honor Roll for Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, which includes 37 Washington State student-athletes. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be on their respective roster with a cumulative GPA of at 3.3 and have served at least one year in residence at the institution.
Washington State’s Maxwell Moore was named the Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year in men’s track & field and was also included in the Honor Roll. A strategic communications graduate student at Washington State who earned his undergraduate degree in the same field, Moore boasts a 3.67 GPA in his graduate program. This past season, Moore was an NCAA West Prelims qualifier, going 54.49m (178-9) in the discus. He picked up a lifetime-best performance at the Mt. SAC Relays earlier this season, finishing second overall with a toss of 56.99m (187-0)
Sara Sanders of Oregon State was named the 2025 Pac-12 Women’s Track & Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year. A 4.00 student with a degree in kinesiology, Sanders qualified for the NCAA Championships in the javelin in 2025, finishing 20th overall with a mark of 48.47m (159-0).
Following the 2025-26 academic year, the Pac-12 will expand to include Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, San Diego State, Texas State, and Utah State. Official sport sponsorships for the new Pac-12 will be announced at a later date.
