Bulldogs Reveal 2023 Indoor Track and Field Schedule


STARKVILLE – Head coach Chris Woods and the Mississippi State track and field program have announced the schedule for the 2023 indoor season. The Maroon and White will compete in five meets leading up to postseason competition.
 
MSU 2023 Indoor Season
State will open the 2023 campaign with back-to-back trips to Birmingham, Ala., for the UAB Blazer Invite (Jan. 13) and the Samford Open (Jan. 20-21), before closing out the month in its first of two trips to Clemson, S.C. for the Bob Pollock Invite (Jan. 27-28).
 
Similar to last season, the Dawgs will split up on February 10 and 11, competing at both the Tiger Paw Invite in Clemson, S.C., and the Music City Challenge in Nashville, Tenn. It will be the final regular-season events for the Bulldogs.
 
The 2023 SEC Indoor Championships will be hosted by Arkansas (Feb. 24-25). The top-16 qualifiers in each event from the conference championships will advance to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships (March 11-12), held in Albuquerque, N.M.
 
The 2023 outdoor schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
