Duke Unveils 2023-24 Schedule - Duke University

DURHAM – With the 2023-24 track season rapidly approaching, Duke director of track & field and cross country Shawn Wilbourn announced the Blue Devils’ indoor and outdoor slate Wednesday morning. The Blue Devils are set to compete at 17 meets across the indoor and outdoor regular seasons.

The indoor slate opens Dec. 2 with the Blue Devils split across two meets. Several members of the team will compete in the intrasquad Blue White Scrimmage, while others head up to Beantown to take part in the BU Season Opener. Following the New Year, Duke returns to the track for the JDL Mondo College Invitational (Jan. 14), before heading to Blacksburg, Va., for the Hokie Invitational Jan. 19-20. The Blue Devils close out the month of January with the squad once again split across two meets – the BU Terrier Classic and the JDL Camel City Invitation, both meets are slated for Jan. 26-27.

A pair of return trips each to Blacksburg and Boston headline the month of February, beginning with the Doc Hale Invitational (Feb. 2-3) and BU Valentine Invitational (Feb. 9-10) – the latter also featuring a split Blue Devil squad as several members of the team will also be competing at the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C., that same weekend. Duke closes out the indoor regular season in familiar territory – a majority of the team will head to the Virginia Tech Challenge (Feb. 16-17) while the distance runners head back up north for the BU Terrier DMR Challenge (Feb. 17).

The ACC Indoor Championships are slated for Feb. 22-24, with the NCAA Indoor Championships set to take place two weeks later from March 8-9. Both meets will take place in Boston, Mass.

Duke unwraps the outdoor season in South Beach at the Miami Collegiate Invitational March 22-23. The Blue Devils are back in North Carolina for six of their next seven meets, starting with the Raleigh Relays from March 28-30. After the VertKlasse Meeting (April 5-April 6) in High Point, N.C., Duke returns to Morris Williams Stadium to host the annual Duke Invitational April 11-13.

Following the Wake Forest Invitational (April 19), the Blue Devils will feature a split squad to close out April, along with the outdoor regular season at the Penn Relays (April 25-27) and Charlotte Invitational (April 26-27).
