Giffnock North AC athlete Oliver MacDonald is preparing to race from GB and NI this weekend.

Oliver is with the team for the European U18 Champs in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, over July 18-21.

The Giffnock North AC athlete was picked to race in the Men’s 3000m following recent strong performances and the selection process.

And the race is set up as a straight final on Sunday morning. Good luck!

Darren Ritchie is team leader with the GB and NI party and the team staff includes current scottishathletics staff members, Alison Grey and Allan Hamilton and fellow Scot, Tom Dobbing.
