PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh Track & Field team has released this season’s indoor schedule, as announced by Director of Track and Field and Cross Country, Alonzo Webb, Thursday afternoon.
The Panthers will open the 2024-2025 campaign at the Youngstown State Icebreaker on December 6th in Youngstown, Ohio. Competition will resume in the new year with the Penn State Challenge in University Park, Pa. on January 18th. The following week, Pitt will travel to ACC counterpart, Virginia Tech, for the Hokie Invitational January 24-25. The Panthers will once again return to Penn State at the end of the month for the Penn State National Open January 31st and February 1st.
The Panthers are set to attend two different meets during the weekend of February 14-15. The distance group will travel to the Boston University Valentine Invitational whereas the rest of the team will head south for the Clemson Tiger Paw.
March marks the postseason, as ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships will run March 1-3 at the University of Louisville. Those who qualify will advance to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Finals March 15-17 in Virginia Beach, Va.
