The road to 2025 racing has just begun!
We have extended Winter workouts to ten weeks!
Thanks to nice notes from coaches and athletes.
We will include tempo, hills and some threshold up coming.
We will give you ten weeks of good mileage and begin building into the Spring 2025 season.
Our program is for 800m to 5,000m.
This is week nine of the Winter Indoor Racing/Training Program
During the winter, I build mileage, do hill work, and run short races (800m-3k) for weekly speed work.
Today is March 4, 2025
Today is the first day of your ninth week of mileage.
Warm up well, 20 minutes of moderate running, 20 Minute Tempo run (20 seconds per mile pace slower than current 5k race pace), 8 x 300m hill repeats, 6 x 150 meter stride-outs, cooldown.
Always hydrate.
Make plans for spring. Write down your goals for the season on your iPhone or iPad or on a postcard, and read them daily. Dreams are fulfilled through hard work!
