PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers cross country has announced its 2021 fall schedule. The Scarlet Knights are set for five invitationals leading up to the Big Ten Championships, the ECAC/IC4A Championships, and the NCAA Championships.
Rutgers will be led by first-year Head Coach Matthew Jelley, who was elevated to the helm of the program following his first year “On the Banks” in 2020-21.
Returning to competition for the first time since 2019, the Scarlet Knights open their season on Friday, Sept. 3 at the Lehigh Invitational. The five total invites will prepare Rutgers for the Big Ten Championships slated for Friday, Oct. 29 at Penn State.
The NCAA Regional Championships will take place on Friday, Nov. 12 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Followed by the ECAC/IC4A Championships and NCAA Championships on Saturday, Nov. 20.
