Athletics Weekly preview story
Scotland teams head for 2022 TCS London Mini Marathon this weekend.
The event takes place on Saturday, the day before the main London Marathon, over the shorter 2.6km course that was introduced last year.
And we’re delighted to wish all the best to 24 young athletes to compete in London, with thanks to the Road Running and Cross Country Commission for supporting this important international opportunity for developing athletes.
With four teams of six athletes across the U15 and U17 age groups, there’s a great chance for young Scots to experience the landmark event.
Thanks in advance to our (volunteer) Team Staff who will be with the athletes for the trip to London.
Team Leader: Neil Renton
Team Staff: Elaine Mackay, John Rodger, Linda Smith
Good luck to all the athletes selected and to their coaches and families as well as the clubs for all their hard work in helping on the development pathway.
