RALEIGH For the second time in two weeks NC State’s Katelyn Tuohy brought home multiple Indoor Track and Field honors.
Â
Over the weekend at the Millrose Games in New York, Tuohy set an NCAA record in the 3K, finishing in 8:35.20.Â
Â
On Tuesday Tuohy was named the USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week, as well as the ACC Women’s Track Performer of the Week.
Â
Tuohy doubled up on both honors on January 31 when she set an NCAA record in the mile, finishing with a time of 4:24.26.Â
Â
In December, she ran the 5000m in 15:15.92 at the Boston University Sharon Colyear Danville Season Opener. That mark is currently No. 1 in the nation. Tuohy now holds the top three marks nationally in the 5000m, the mile and now the 3000m.
Â
In just two seasons, Tuohy already has two NCAA titles (outdoor 5000m, cross country) and is a six-time All-American.
