LOS ANGELES – UCLA Cross Country is headed north for its second meet of the season, competing at the 2023 Bill Dellinger Invitational on Friday, Sept. 22.
The University of Oregon-hosted meet will begin at 11 a.m. PT with the men’s 8000m race. After the men’s side concludes, the women’s 6000m race will start at 11:45 a.m. PT. Follow along with live results here.
Course Description
The Pine Ridge Golf Club, one of Oregon’s premier golf courses, will be the site of the Bill Dellinger Invitational. Athletes will race entirely on grass and mostly on fairways. The course consists of two relatively flat loops—an outer loop and a finish loop. The outer loop is approximately 2,320 meters in length and the finishing loop is approximately 1,350 meters in length.

The women’s cross country team dominated the southern California meet on Sept. 1, claiming five of the top six spots in the race. Mia Kane (20:57.7), Kaho Cichon (21:06.6) and Brooke Johnston (21:10.8) finished one-two-three to claim all spots on the podium.
The men’s team placed second in the meet, finishing behind only host Loyola Marymount (23 points) in the race. Three Bruins finished in the top 10 for the competition: Dylan Wilbur (2nd – 24:36.0), Patrick Curulla (4th – 24:52.5) and Harrison Dance (9th – 25:16.0).
