NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off a performance that tied its best in program history, Vanderbilt track and field will be represented by eleven Commodores—Haley Bishop, Ella Escobar, Veronica Fraley, Lena Gooden, Sarah Marvin, Allyria McBride, Sarah Omoregie, Julia Rosenberg, Falon Spearman, Santana Spearman and Kosi Umerah—at the NCAA East First Round, the organization announced Thursday.
For individual events, the top 48 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. The top 24 relay teams qualified for the regional event. The NCAA East First Round will be May 22-25 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Student-athletes will vie for 12 spots in each individual and relay event to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which are June 5-8 in Eugene, Oregon.
