COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri track and field’s Mitch Weber, Skylar Ciccolini, Sterling Scott, and Kelsey Schweizer will represent Mizzou at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships from June 5-8 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. The entirety of the meet can be streamed live on ESPN+.
Ciccolini begins the action at 8:45 p.m. CT on Thursday.
Senior Mitch Weber, competing in the discus, advanced through NCAA Round One, with a mark of 59.23m (194-4) to place fourth.
The 2022 SEC Men’s Discus Champion has now been a championships qualifier two-times and holds a personal best of 60.99m (200-1) which he set at the Mizzou Spring Opener in 2021.
Now a three-time NCAA Championships qualifier, senior Skylar Ciccolini placed 11th in javelin in round one with a throw of 51.35m.
A two time All-American, Ciccolini holds a personal best of 56.08 (184-0) made as a freshman at the Rock Chalk Classic 2021.
Freshman Sterling Scott advanced to Oregon in triple jump with a personal best of 15.77m (51-9), placing 11th in the first round of his first NCAA Championships appearance.
Scott earned All-American honors and placed fifth in the event during the SEC Championships.
Junior Kelsey Schweizer took 10th in her first championship qualifier appearance Saturday with a personal best 2:03.84 in the 800m.
The Urbandale, Iowa native notched a sixth-place result in the event at the SEC Championships.
The championships are set to be held at Hayward Field for the first time since 2022.
