1. A superb womens’ Pole vault, with Nine Kennedy, AUS taking the win in 4.90m, defending champion, Katie Moon, US, took silver and Alysa Newman, CAN took the bronze.

2. In the Men’s discus, Roje Stona surprised all, going Olympic record of 70 meters to Mkylolas Alekana’s 69.50m, but Alekna took silver and Matthew Denny took the bronze.

3. In the steeplechase, Kenny Rooks, USA, almost stole the race, taking a silver with Soufianne El Bakkali taking gold and Abraham Kibiwot, KEN, taking the bronze.
