Stirling was the focus of attention recently for a dramatic Monument Mile Classic event – now the Scottish 10k Champs will be centre stage on Sunday.

It’s the last event of our Road Race Series for 2024 with and there is a record entry for the Podfather 10k event.

Central AC are our hosts in the year of their 50th anniversary and a remarkable 1310 names are on the start lists.

With a shorter race first for youngsters, there will be a great atmosphere in Stirling on Sunday morning prior to battles for coveted individual and team medals in the Scottish 10k Champs.

Race organiser Lewis Millar and all the team of Central AC volunteers have put in a huge amount of preparatory work and we feel sure the planning will pay off.

‘We can’t wait for the race on Sunday with a record entry and I want to thank Podfather for their financial support,’ said Lewis.

‘That help has allowed us to bring in race day improvements and helped the race go from strength to strength in recent years. Thanks also to Stirling Council.’
