This is the release for the 45th FootLocker Cross Country Annual Championships, presented by HOKA. This is one of my favorite events of the year, with thousands of young athletes achieving their dreams by running national championships in cross country!

Foot Locker’s Annual Cross Country Championships Return for 45th Year

Registration For Regional Races, in Partnership with HOKA, is open now

NEW YORK – September 9TH, 2024 – The Foot Locker Cross Country Championships (FLXC) are returning for the 45th annual year. Top high school cross country runners from across the United States will compete in four regional competitions in hopes of becoming a finalist in the nation’s preeminent cross-country championship.

The Foot Locker Cross Country Championship is the longest-running cross country race in the nation.  Comprised of four regional 5K races, the Northeast, South and Midwest regional races will take place on Saturday, November 30, with the West Regional race scheduled for Saturday, December 7.  Thousands of the nation’s leading high school runners are expected to compete in these regional meets.

For the second year, Foot Locker will team up with HOKA as a presenting sponsor across all races. HOKA’s current roster of athletes includes Foot Locker Cross Country National Alumni   Futsum Zienasellassie, Ashley Brasovan and Luis Grijalva who have continued to embody the legacy of the annual race throughout their careers. Registration for the 2024 regional races is open to the public now.
