Duke to Conclude Regular Season at Panorama Farms Invitational

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke cross country team will look to close out regular season competition on a high note, as the Blue Devils gear up for the Panorama Farms Invitational slated for Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Panorama Farms Course in Earlysville, Va.
 
MEET INFO/WHAT TO KNOW

• Saturday’s races commence at 8:45 a.m., with the men’s 8K, followed by the women’s 6K at 9:30 a.m. Live results will be available via FlashResults HERE.
• 26 athletes are set to represent Duke this weekend. Ryan Banko, Conor Bohrer, Nick Falk, Matthew Farrell, Colin Friend, Jackson Heidesch, Jeremy Kain, Alden Keller, Jack Kovach, Rendon Kuykendall, Duncan Miller, Sean Morello, Riley Newport, William Skelly, Jack Stanley, Luke Thompson and Beck Wittstadt will compete for the Blue Devil men.
• Iris Downes, Lucy Gagnon, Grace Geyer, Lindsay Hausman, Caroline Hood, Ella Johns, Abby Paczewski, Hattie Reynolds and Thais Rolly comprise the women’s contingent.

 
LAST TIME OUT

• Duke cross country competed at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational on Friday afternoon, with the men’s squad headlining the day’s performances with a runner-up finish in the 8K Open race.
• The Blue Devils capped the day with a strong performance in the men’s 8K Open race, totaling 43 points en route to locking down the second-place finish. Kovach led the charge for Duke with a ninth-place finish of 24:59.20.
• Duke also took part in the men’s 8K Championship and women’s 6K Championship races, with both teams finishing 14th in the team standings with 355 and 346 points, respectively.
• For the men, it was Falk (63rd) who paced the efforts in the event via a run of 24:17.21. Rolly led the way for the Blue Devil women, placing 38th after running 20:35.78.
