CABBAGE PATCH 10, Twickenham, Middlesex, October 20

Joe Wigfield took the race in 48:51, as Twelde Menges, Dylan Evans and Finn McNally were also inside the 50-minute mark.

The guess is that may runners were late entries following the cancellation of the Great South Run 10-miler at Portsmouth caused by the potential threat from storm Ashley. If so, Portsmouth’s loss was the Cabbage Patch’s gain.
