Lauren’s Lap and Safety at Sunset Auction Dinner Set for Nov. 2

SALT LAKE CITY – The Lauren McCluskey Foundation will host a dinner and auction inside the Ken Garff University Club at Rice-Eccles Stadium after Lauren’s Lap on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 6-10 p.m.

 

This year’s race in honor of slain Utah track & field student-athlete Lauren McCluskey will begin at 9 a.m. and run until about 1 p.m. on Nov. 2 with the foundation hosting a 1K, 5K and 10K – which will start and finish at the McCarthey Family Track & Field Complex (S Wasatch Dr., Salt Lake City, UT 84112).

The auction and dinner, Safety at Sunset, will take place in the evening after Lauren’s Lap and is aimed at bringing together community members, supporters, and advocates to raise awareness and funds for campus safety initiatives, featuring speakers, an auction, and opportunities for attendees to engage with each other and the Foundation’s ongoing projects and campaigns.
