SAVOY, ILL. – Rutgers cross country closed out the conference season at the 2024 Big Ten Championships, hosted by the University of Illinois at the Orange and Blue Golf Course. Jack Tavaglione paced the men’s squad, while Kelsey O’Neil was the top finisher for the women’s team.
Tavaglione posted a time of 24:24.2 to finish 100th and lead the Scarlet Knights. He was joined by fellow scorers Brian Pedretti, who took 108th in 24:29.0, Dan Pedretti in 117th with a time of 24:41.2, followed by Zeb Hinker (123rd; 24:48.5) and Marty Brophy (124th; 24:49.7).
On the women’s side, O’Neil finished in 107th place with a time of 21:00.1. She was followed by Sofia Condron (123rd; 21:16.6), Casey Walter (155th; 21:52.8), Madison Brown (161st; 22:14.5) and Emma Baeyens (169th; 22:25.8).
The 2024 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals will take place on Friday, November 15 at Penn State Blue/White Golf Courses in State College, Pennsylvania.
