EAP Indoor International

scottishathletics are making plans to host a special EAP Indoor International meet at the Emirates Arena early in 2025.

The event will take place on the evening of Sunday 2 February – almost one year on from the World Indoors at the same venue in Glasgow.

Our programme will happen from 6pm to 9pm at the Emirates.

The Events for Athletics Promotion circuit, created in 1990, is a series of international meetings and we fully expect foreign athletes to come to Scotland to compete.

Alongside that, there will be opportunity for Scottish athletes who have the required qualification standards to take advantage of high level competition on their own doorstep and in the familiar surroundings of the (redeveloped) Emirates Arena.

Details on how to buy tickets for the EAP Indoor International will be released in due course.

Athletes wishing to be considered should study the expression of interest form on our Event section page:

Entries:

Athletes must complete the expression of interest form to register their interest in competing.

Invitations will then be sent out to athletes from January 3 and athletes will have three days to confirm their acceptance before the place is offered to the next athlete on the list.

The final deadline for entries to be confirmed is 5pm on Thursday 16 January 2025.

Note: Achievement of the standards does not guarantee a place in the meeting.

Age Groups:

Senior: born 31 December 2005 or earlier

U20: born 1 Jan 2006 – 31 Aug 2008 (compete as Seniors)

U18: 16 or 17 on 31st December 2025 (born in 2008 or 2009

Para events:

Para athletes wishing to be considered must have an IPC classification.

Entry standards are not fixed for Para events, but athletes interested in competing should be capable of competing at an international/European level.
