The 4J Senior and U17 Champs at the Emirates Arena have been rescheduled for Sunday 9 March.
We’re delighted to be able to stage the champs this indoor season following the postponement last weekend after freak weather conditions caused the closure of the venue by Glasgow Life.
scottishathletics are now working towards the rescheduled date with support from our superb team of dedicated Officials.
In seeking to find a new date, we have sought to minimise clashes with other events with significant Scottish involvement (such as BUCS Unis Champs). But we do understand and appreciate the new date may not be suitable to everyone.
It is also important to stress that the weekend of February 15/16 now remains the only weekend in a long run of weeks from early January into mid-March when our Officials can have some well-earned time off with no Championship event or cross country scheduled.
We regarded this as another key factor in our thoughts around rescheduling the Senior and U17 Champs.
A couple of points to note at this stage:
*Athletes already entered for the Senior and U17s will have their entries moved to March 9
*Athletes or Spectators who registered for January 25 and cannot now attend on March 9 are asked to complete this form to withdraw and request a refund
*We plan to reopen entries for the new date (where space in events allows) from 10am on Thursday 6 February
*Entries for Sunday 9 March will close on at 5pm Thursday 20 February, or sooner as events sell out

Apologies again to those in our track and field community inconvenienced by last week’s late postponement circumstances.
And thank you, too, to all those now working with us to deliver the rescheduled date on March 9 at the Emirates Arena.
