Buckeyes Claim 2022 Big Ten Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships


 
ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Ohio State men’s outdoor track and field team won the 2022 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Minneapolis on Sunday. The Buckeyes claimed their sixth program title and first since 2018.
 
Ohio State recorded 124 team points, while Iowa finished in second place with 103 points and Wisconsin finished in third with 90. Nebraska tallied 82 and Minnesota 73 to round out the top five, respectively.
 
The Big Ten Track Athlete of the Championships, Field Athlete of the Championships, Coach of the Year and Sportsmanship Award honorees will be announced on May 18. The Big Ten Track Athlete of the Year, Field Athlete of the Year and Freshman of the Year will be announced the Wednesday following NCAA Championships, June 15.
