COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team travels to Indiana this week for the NCAA East Regional. The men are slated to compete on Wednesday and Friday, while the women compete on Thursday and Saturday. The full schedule can be found in the links above.

  • The Buckeyes made history at the 2022 Big Ten Outdoor Championships, winning both the women’s and men’s team championships in the same year for the first time. This is the first time since 1997 and the seventh time in Big Ten history that the same school has won both the men’s and women’s outdoor championships in the same year.
  • The Ohio State women set a Big Ten record for scoring the most points as a team at the outdoor championships, finishing with 185.5 points.
  • Karen Dennis became the first coach in Big Ten track and field history to be named Big Ten Outdoor Coach of the Year on both the men’s and women’s sides in the same season.
  • Alexus Pyles was named Big Ten Outdoor Female Field Athlete of the Championships and Eric Harrison was named Big Ten Outdoor Male Track Athlete of the Championships.
  • The Buckeyes’ Sportsmanship Award Honorees were Aziza Ayoub and Josh Miller.
  • The Ohio State women had 11 student-athletes make the All-Big Ten First Team and three more make the All-Big Ten Second Team.
  • The Ohio State men had four make the All-Big Ten First Team and seven make the All-Big Ten Second Team.
  • On the women’s side, the Buckeyes won seven individual championships and both relays. The Buckeye men won three individual titles in addition to the 4x100m relay.
