COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s cross country team ran at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Friday morning in Terre Haute, Ind. The Buckeyes, who battled illness this week, finished 13th, with Zubin Jha placing first for Ohio State.

Quoting Head Coach Sara Mason Vergote

“Our men’s team was hit really hard with illness this past week, which was just bad timing. This race is not indicative of the progress our men’s program has made as a whole. I’m proud of the guys who lined up today.”

Men’s 10K Recap

  • Zubin Jha was the first Buckeye finisher in 60th.
  • Zach Shultz (89th), Kaleb Martin (92nd) and John Cuozzo (97th) all finished within eight spots and Keegan Souhan closed out the Buckeye counters.
  • Sean Carney and Giovanni Copploe rounded out the Buckeyes who raced in the regional.
