Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week - Jeff Kline

College Park, MD — Each week during the 2022-23 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.

This week’s Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week is Junior Jeff Kline of Maryland Men’s Track and Field. It is his first Terp of the week honor.

Maryland opened their 2022-23 indoor track and field season at the Navy Invitational. The meet was headlined by a stellar performance from junior Jeff Kline, who threw to a personal best mark of 19.65m in the shot put, taking first place and shattering a forty-four year old Maryland program record. His throw also earned a first place result in the event and set a new Naval Academy facility record.

Kline and the Terps will be back in action this January, after a short winter break. Maryland’s indoor track and field squads will travel to Penn State on January 14th to compete in the Nittany Lion Challenge.
