The Seminoles began their indoor campaign with a bang, smashing records and sitting high in the polls. The men took 3rd in the first indoor USTFCCCA poll of the season. Jeremiah Davis headlines the team finishing in the top three of all of his events and taking victory in both the long and triple jump events. He’s currently the only DI male athlete to rank in the top five of two or more events, ranking first in the long jump and third in the triple jump. Now sitting on back-to-back ACC Men’s Field Performer of the Week awards, he’ll compete in the long jump event looking to earn the honor for a third straight week and continue to put himself into the national conversation. Joining him in the field events are jumpers Curtis Williams and Xavion Longwood.

As for the runners, Freshmen Patrick Donnelly and Coleman Cronk will race alongside five other Seminoles in the 3000m run. Australian sophomore Samuel Field will look to improve on his team-leading time in the mile while James Rivera will compete in both the 200m and 400m dash.

On the women’s side, Kayla Pinkard leads the jumpers with an ACC season-best triple jump last weekend, she’ll look to better her marks in both the long jump and the triple jump. Freshman Dajaz DeFrand will look to continue her great start when she takes her mark in the 60m dash while Faith Banks will hold it down for the Seminoles in the 400m dash.
