O’Brien Named ACC Women’s Indoor Field Performer of the Year – Notre Dame Fighting Irish – Official Athletics Website

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The ACC announced on Wednesday their indoor season awards where Jadin O’Brien earned ACC Women’s Indoor Field Performer of the Year. 

This marks the third award for O’Brien this season. She most recently took the USTFCCCA Great Lakes Field Athlete of the Year, and O’Brien won the national title for the women’s pentathlon at the 2023 NCAA Indoor Championships in Albuquerque. She also collected the conference title in the pentathlon where she set a facility record.

She finished the pentathlon with 4512 points and set two event personal bests, and recorded a personal best for the pentathlon overall. Her total made her the number ten collegian of all-time in the pentathlon. 

O’Brien will continue her competition into the outdoor season when the Irish begin their outdoor season on March 23.
