Florida State’s track & field teams will split up for competitions at Wake Forest University on Friday and at LSU on Saturday.
FSU’s distance runners are in Winston-Salem, N.C. for the Wake Forest Invitational. Suus Altorf will be the first Seminole to race today when the women’s 1,500 meters starts at 1:00 p.m. The rest of Florida State’s entries will race later tonight including Alyson Churchill who will compete in the Invitational women’s 1,500 meter race at 8:30 p.m.

Florida State’s field events, sprint and hurdles participants will compete at the LSU Alumni Gold Meet on Saturday in Baton Rouge, La.
Freshman Riley Simmons will get the Seminoles started on Saturday in the women’s hammer throw beginning at 11:30 a.m. EDT. Jeremiah Davis, who is currently the NCAA’s top long jumper, is not entered in the event, but will compete in the triple jump beginning at 5:30 p.m. EDT.
