BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Clemson Tigers wrapped up the first day of the Doc Hale VT Meet as multiple athletes secured first-place finishes and others made their marks on Clemson’s top 10 list. The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow, Feb. 3 as they look to continue their success in Blacksburg.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- In the men’s 60 meter hurdles, Jevon Williams was first to cross the line as he completed the event in 7.77 to secure first-place
- In the men’s 400 meter, Tahj Hamm recorded a first-place finish as he crossed the line with a time of 47.08
- In his first time competing for the Tigers, Carlito Jones enters the top 10 list in the men’s weight throw as he threw 19.29m to secure the No. 6 spot
- In the women’s 60 meter hurdles, Antionette Van Der Merwe recorded a first-place finish as she completed the event with a time of 8.34
- Anna Long entered Clemson’s all-time list in the women’s pole vault as she cleared 3.90m to tie her for eighth
