GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Vanderbilt track and field continues its season at the SEC Outdoor Championships. The meet will be hosted by Florida at Percy Beard Track in Gainesville.

The conference championship meet kicks off Thursday at noon with the heptathlon 100-meter hurdles. The full schedule of events is available HERE.
Dore Notes
- The Commodores were the fifth-ranked 100-meter hurdle squad in the USTFCCCA’s Week 7 event squad rankings after the group registered a total of six all-conditions PRs at the Music City Challenge.
- Vanderbilt student-athletes recorded event wins or were the top-collegiate finishers in nine events at the Music City Challenge.
- Julia Rosenberg won the 1,500 meters (4:15.60) and was the runner-up in the 800 meters (2:07.45) at the home meet, recording personal bests and program all-time top 10 marks in both events.
- On their home track, Haley Bishop and Lena Gooden recorded the top two qualifying times in the 100 meters, 11.38 (4.4 m/s) and 11.59 seconds (2.1m/s), respectively.
- Gooden also placed first in the invite division of the long jump, registering a 6.14-meter mark (2.4 m/s).
- Veronica Fraley was named the SEC Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at the LSU Alumni Gold where she won the discus (61.37 meters), placed second in the shot put (16.73 meters) and recorded a personal best in the hammer throw (51.74 meters)
- At the LSU Alumni Gold, Sarah Omoregie recorded an event winning and personal-best throw of 17.79 meters in the shot put. The mark is No. 4 in the SEC and No. 11 in the NCAA thus far this season.
- In the 400-meter hurdles, Allyria McBride is ranked sixth in the SEC and 15th in the NCAA with an event-winning time of 56.63 seconds from the LSU Alumni Gold.
- Alix Still tallied 5,471 points in the heptathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Her score is ranked fifth both in Vanderbilt history and the SEC this season.
- At the same meet, Bria Bennis notched the second-ranked 5,000-meter time in school history, 16:05.11, placing third among freshmen and 11th overall in her heat.
- Earlier this season, Rosenberg broke the school record in the 5,000 meters at Raleigh Relays, setting the new mark at 16:04.24.
- Commodores have added one school record and 23 marks to the program’s all-time top 10 performers list this outdoor season.
